BROCHURE

The Institution of Engineers Pakistan, Karachi Centre and NED University of Engineering and Technology jointly organized the 7th International Civil Engineering Congress on Sustainable Development through Advancements in Civil Engineering on 12th and 13th June, 2015 in collaboration with Federation of Engineering Institutions of Islamic Countries (FEIIC),Federation of Engineering Institutions of South and Central Asia (FEISCA) and The Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council (ACECC).

Engr. Prof. Dr. Sahibzada Farooq Ahmed Rafeeqi, Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, NED University of Engineering and Technology, was the Chief Guest at the Inaugural Session.

The Congress started from recitation of Holy Quran by Engr. Ali Bin Sohail followed by The National Anthem.

Engr. Farhat Adil, Chairman, IEP Karachi Centre presented the welcome address. Mr. Zain Malik, CEO, (South) Bahria Town was the Guest of Honour and Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haq, Vice Chancellor, NED University of Engineering and Technology participated as a special Guest at the Inaugural Session.

The keynote address was presented by Engr. Dr. Shahid Alam, Exponent Engineers on Mass Transit System for Karachi which was appreciated very much by the participants.

Engr. Farhat Adil, Chairman, IEP Karachi Centre presented the Congress shield to the Chief Guest. Engr. Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Vice-Chairman (Civil & Structural), IEP Karachi Centre presented the vote of thanks. Engr.Sohail Bashir, Chairman, International Affairs, IEP and Organizer of 7ICEC-2015 conducted the Inaugural Session.

CLOSING SESSION
A closing session was held after the 5th technical session of the congress. Engr. Farhat Adil, Chairman, IEP Karachi Centre presented the closing address. Engr. Ayaz Mirza, Secretary IEP Karachi Centre presented the vote of thanks.
