The Institution of Engineers Pakistan was founded on 7th May, 1948 at Chittagong with the blessing of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The Institution of Engineers Pakistan throughout Pakistan and abroad celebrate its foundation day as “Engineers Day”every year in the month of May, wherein traditionally, Engineers whose professional contribution has remained outstanding are recognized by awarding them IEP Award in recognition of their services.

This year the Engineers Day ceremony will be held on Saturday the 29th June, 2019 at 07:30 p.m. at the Auditorium of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

Eminent engineers from public and private sectors including Vice Chancellors of Engineering Universities are expected to grace this occasion. On this occasion, IEP is also planning to hold a social program.

Invitation card will be issued to all those engineers who show their intention to attend the aforesaid program by filling the online registration form on or before 26th June, 2019. Please note that due to limited seats, cards will be issued on first come first serve basis and the entry in the above ceremony will be restricted to invitation card issued by name only.
